Neona has a new name — meet Melloy on October 1

Hello, this is Neona.

On October 1, Neona becomes Melloy. The name comes from the feelings a story leaves behind, the melody that stays with you. The experience stays the same: characters who remember yesterday's conversation. Only the name is new.

With the new name comes a promise: more characters and stories, more natural conversations and voices, and easier tools for creators. We'll show you, one step at a time, a service worthy of the name Melloy.

■ What changes on October 1

App name: Neona → Melloy (the name on your home screen and the logo inside the app)
App name and images on the App Store and Google Play
Web address: from October 1, use melloy.io
The service name written in our Terms and Privacy Policy (no other changes; see the separate notice)

■ What stays the same

Your account, credits and purchase history
Chat history, memories, and the characters you created
Support: help@neonachat.io and Discord

■ What you need to do

Nothing. Just update the app on or after October 1. No new sign-up or install.

Q. Are Neona and Melloy different apps? A. Same app. Only the name and logo change; it arrives as an update to the app you have.
Q. Will I lose credits or chats? A. No. Everything carries over.
Q. What about old links? A. From October 1, use the new address, melloy.io. Old links open for now, but please share melloy.io links going forward.
